Data the app accesses

With the account owner's consent, the app uses read-only Gmail access to retrieve messages and attachments, including mail in Spam and Trash, and to read labels, dates, and read status.

How the data is used

The app copies that mail into a Microsoft 365 mailbox chosen by the account owner. It does not delete or change the Gmail originals. It uses message identifiers to avoid making duplicate copies and to resume after an interruption. Gmail data is used only for this migration and ongoing mail sync.

Storage and sharing

Message content and attachments are transferred to the owner's chosen Microsoft 365 mailbox, where Microsoft processes them to provide that mailbox. The desktop app keeps authorization credentials in the computer's secret store and keeps migration progress, such as message IDs and copy status, in a local database. It does not keep a separate permanent archive of message content on the computer. Gmail data is not sold, used for advertising, or disclosed to any other party.

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Owner control

The account owner can stop the local sync, revoke Google or Microsoft access, and remove the local progress database. Copies already placed in Microsoft 365 remain there until the owner removes them.
